Stop Gorsuch's Supreme Court confirmation until we get answers

Call your senators at 202-417-2612 and insist that they delay any action on Judge Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court until an independent commission investigates Trump’s ties to Russia.

On March 22nd, CNN broke news that the F.B.I. has information suggesting Donald Trump’s campaign “communicated with suspected Russian operatives to possibly coordinate the release of information damaging to Hillary Clinton's campaign.”

This comes just after F.B.I. director James Comey confirmed that his agency is investigating whether Donald Trump’s aides conspired with Russians to influence the presidential election.

We already knew Trump owes his presidency to Russian interference in last year’s election. These are truly unprecedented circumstances.

With so many questions unanswered by this administration into its ties to Russia, we must not allow Trump to make a lifetime appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Act Now: Call your senators and insist that they delay any action on Neil Gorsuch’s nomination until an independent commission investigates Trump’s ties to Russia.

The American people deserve to know if Donald Trump’s top lieutenants conspired with Russians to interfere with the presidential election. If Trump’s campaign conspired with a foreign government, Trump cannot be allowed to give an extremely conservative judge a lifetime appointment to the nation’s highest court.

The repercussions of filling this seat will last for generations. Gorsuch is a right-wing ideologue that will put corporations ahead of workers, and polluters ahead our families’ health. That’s why GOP senators are trying to fast track Gorsuch’s nomination.

The stakes couldn’t be higher.

Talking points

  • Hello, my name is [Name] and I am from [City]. My zip code is [#####].
  • I am calling because Donald Trump should not be allowed to appoint a justice while his campaign is under investigation by the F.B.I.
  • Gorsuch is an extreme candidate and would be wrong for the Supreme Court under any circumstances. News of this investigation makes it especially inappropriate to consider him or any other Trump nominee right now.
  • I urge you to delay any further action on Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee until an independent commission concludes that his campaign had no involvement with Russian efforts to undermine the presidential election.
