Largest Youth Voting Org Launches Highly-Anticipated Campaign

NextGen America’s ‘Hot Girls Vote’ program collaborates with influencers to register and engage young voters across the country

Washington, D.C. — Today, NextGen America, the largest youth vote organization in the country, launched their most anticipated campaign, Hot Girls Vote. The innovative, inclusive, and digital-forward voter registration campaign is activating the largest, most diverse electorate in American history. This year’s Hot Girls Vote campaign is also starting earlier than ever before because, as youth vote experts, NextGen America recognizes the untapped power of young people and is committed to building trust with this cohort over time to help them see the power of their voices to create change.

Everyone can be a certified NextGen Hot Girl — as long as they’re ready and willing to use their voice and their vote. Throughout the campaign, NextGen will collaborate with dozens of content creators to be NextGen approved “Hot Girls” or voting advocates, ahead of Election Day.

“Hot Girls Vote is preparing the largest, most diverse generation in American history to show up and use their voice on Election Day,” NextGen America President Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez said. “Whether it’s the worsening climate crisis or relentless attacks on abortion and reproductive rights, young people are experiencing firsthand the consequences of our leaders’ inaction. Through NextGen’s Hot Girls Vote campaign, we’re collaborating with trusted messengers to help educate and mobilize young people across the country to stand up, use their voice, and fight back.”

NextGen will host a variety of events online and on-the-ground to kick-off its Hot Girls Vote campaign. This includes a Hot Girls Vote block party in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Raleigh, North Carolina, a texting Hot Girls Vote ‘friendbank,’ as well as email sends encouraging people to register to vote. NextGen will also relaunch a microsite for the campaign that includes several actions for visitors to take, like registering and pledging to vote, as well as a free Hot Girls Vote-branded sticker giveaway.

NextGen America first launched Hot Girls Vote in 2020 as an online action campaign to celebrate the 19th Amendment Centennial. This annual digital campaign complements NextGen’s on-the-ground mobilization efforts in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Virginia which are engaging young voters and providing them with resources ahead of the 2024 elections.
