NextGen America Launches Hot Girls Vote Campaign

Youth voting org launches annual campaign to register and engage millions of young voters across the country

Washington, D.C. — Today, NextGen America announced the annual launch of Hot Girls Vote, an innovative and inclusive voter registration campaign aimed at activating the largest and most diverse electorate in American history. Everyone can be a certified NextGen Hot Girl — as long as they’re ready and willing to use their voice and their vote. The campaign will educate and mobilize young people online by celebrating the power of their vote through digital activations, virtual events, and engaging social media.

The launch includes a NextGen organizing Hot Girls Swipe Pregame and a Hot Girls Swipe event, which will activate young voters through NextGen’s dating app organizing program. The dating app program educates and mobilizes 18-35-year-olds on apps like Tinder, Hinge, and Bumble in preparation of local and national elections.

“As NextGen America prepares for 2024, we are so excited to relaunch our Hot Girls Vote campaign and continue growing the power of young voters,” NextGen America President Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez said. “At the core of NextGen’s work, we aim to connect and mobilize young people through new and innovative ways, and our Hot Girls Vote campaign does just that. Whether it’s on the ground or online our team is engaging and mobilizing young people on the issues most important to them and building our collective power one voice at a time.”

NextGen America first launched Hot Girls Vote in 2020 as an online action campaign to celebrate the 19th Amendment Centennial. This campaign was reintroduced in 2022 in collaboration with social influencers to mobilize young people through new, exciting means. This year, the annual digital campaign complements NextGen’s on-the-ground mobilization efforts in Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Arizona, Virginia, and Nevada, which is engaging young voters and building youth power ahead of the 2024 election.
